15.2-1640 - Renting rooms in courthouse.

§ 15.2-1640. Renting rooms in courthouse.

With the approval of the judge of the circuit court for the county or for thecity, any vacant rooms in the courthouse, after furnishing offices to theofficers listed in § 15.2-1639, may be rented for a term of not exceeding oneyear to other persons for office purposes, and any public room or hall in thebuilding may be hired for compensation for the purpose of giving publicentertainments. All moneys received by the counties or cities under thissection, shall constitute a fund to maintain and care for such building.
