§ 15.2-2108.18. Disclosure of certain information.

A municipality's public records that contain confidential proprietaryinformation or trade secrets pertaining to the municipality's provision ofcable television service shall be exempt from disclosure under the Freedom ofInformation Act (§ 2.2-3700 et seq.). As used in this section, a publicrecord contains confidential proprietary information or trade secrets if itsacquisition by a competing provider of cable television service would providethe competing provider with a competitive benefit.
