§ 15.2-2113. Connections of fire suppression systems.

Any locality, by ordinance, may require local water utilities to allowconnections of fire suppression systems to the water supply. Such ordinancesmay prohibit any requirement for installing water meters on a firesuppression system, may prohibit charging an availability fee to providewater service to such fire suppression systems, and may prohibit connectioncharges exceeding the actual cost of connecting the water supply to the firesuppression system.
