§ 15.2-2207. Public notice of juvenile residential care facilities in certainlocalities.

In any locality without an applicable zoning ordinance, the local governingbody may provide by ordinance that any party desiring to establish a publicor private detention home, group home or other residential care facility forchildren in need of services or for delinquent or alleged delinquent youthmust first provide public notice and participate in a public hearing inaccordance with § 15.2-2204.
