§ 15.2-2245.1. Stormwater management ponds; removal of trees.

A locality shall not require, but may permit, the removal of trees to createstormwater management ponds or facilities if the minimum adequate outfallrequirements and the requirements of the Chesapeake Bay Preservation Act (§10.1-2100 et seq.) can otherwise be met.
