§ 15.2-304. Effect of change on other county officers.

All other officers of such county shall continue to hold office until theirsuccessors are appointed and have qualified. The term of office of any personwho holds an office abolished by the form of government adopted shallterminate as soon as his powers and duties have been transferred to someother officer or employee, or are abolished.
