§ 15.2-3504. Publication of agreement.

The governing body of each of the consolidating localities shall cause a copyof the consolidation agreement, or a descriptive summary of the agreement anda reference to the place within the locality where a copy of the agreementmay be examined, to be published in each locality with which it is proposedto consolidate at least once a week for four successive weeks in a newspaperhaving a general circulation therein. A copy of the agreement shall beavailable for public inspection at the circuit court clerk's office of eachof the consolidating localities.
