15.2-4512 - Quorum and action by commission.

§ 15.2-4512. Quorum and action by commission.

A majority of the commission, which majority shall include at least onecommissioner from a majority of the component governments, shall constitute aquorum. Members of the commission who are members of the General Assemblyshall not be counted in determining a quorum while the General Assembly is insession. The Chairman of the Commonwealth Transportation Board or hisdesignee may be included for the purposes of constituting a quorum. Thepresence of a quorum and a vote of the majority of the members necessary toconstitute a quorum of all the members appointed to the commission, includingan affirmative vote from a majority of the jurisdictions represented, shallbe necessary to take any action. Notwithstanding the provisions of §2.2-3708, members of the General Assembly may participate in the meetings ofthe commission through electronic communications while the General Assemblyis in session.
