§ 15.2-514. Compensation of officers and employees.

The board shall, subject to the limitations of general law, establish aschedule of compensation for officers and employees which provides uniformcompensation for like service and shall fix the compensation of all officersand employees of the county, except as it may authorize the head of adepartment or office to fix the compensation of subordinates and employees insuch department or office. The board may authorize the county executive toestablish terms and conditions of employment for department heads and otherspecified employees who report directly to the county executive.
