§ 15.2-5207. Issuance of bonds by political subdivisions and validationthereof.

Any political subdivision for which the commission is created may issue itsgeneral obligation bonds in the manner provided in the Public Finance Act (§15.2-2600 et seq.) in furtherance of the establishment, construction andenlargement of a hospital or health center. All such bonds issued prior toJune 1, 1975, for such purposes by any political subdivision are herebyratified, validated and confirmed, and all proceedings taken prior to suchdate to authorize the issuance of bonds for such purposes by any politicalsubdivision are hereby ratified, validated and confirmed, and all such bondsmay be issued pursuant to the Public Finance Act.
