§ 15.2-5219. Chapter supplemental; application of other laws; consent oflocal governing bodies or other agencies not required.

The provisions of this chapter shall be deemed to provide a complete,additional, and alternative method for doing the things authorized herein andshall be regarded as supplemental and additional to powers conferred by otherlaws; the issuance of revenue bonds and revenue refunding bonds under theprovisions of this chapter need not comply with the requirements of any otherlaws applicable to the issuance of bonds. Except as otherwise expresslyprovided in this chapter, none of the powers granted to the authority underthe provisions of this chapter shall be subject to the supervision orregulation or require the approval or consent of any locality or anycommission, board, bureau, or agency of any of the foregoing.
