§ 15.2-5311. Removal of commissioner on charges of mayor.

The mayor may remove a commissioner for inefficiency or neglect of duty ormisconduct in office, but only after the commissioner has been given a copyof the charges against him, which may be made by the mayor, at least ten daysprior to the hearing thereon and has had an opportunity to be heard in personor by counsel.
