§ 15.2-5321. Chapter controlling.

Insofar as the provisions of this chapter are inconsistent with theprovisions of any other law, the provisions of this chapter shall becontrolling. Nothing in this chapter shall prevent any city fromestablishing, equipping, and operating a hospital or hospitals or improvingor extending existing hospitals and hospital facilities under the provisionsof its charter or any general law other than this chapter.
