§ 15.2-5322. In general.

An authority shall constitute a body politic and corporate with perpetualsuccession, exercising public powers, and having all the powers necessary orconvenient to carry out and effectuate the purposes and provisions of thischapter. It may sue and be sued and have a seal with power to alter same atpleasure.
