§ 15.2-5344. Contracts with federal government.

The authority is empowered to borrow money and accept grants from the federalgovernment for or in aid of the construction of any hospital project whichsuch authority is authorized by this chapter to undertake, to take over anyland acquired by the federal government for the construction of a hospitalproject, to take over or lease or manage any hospital project constructed orowned by the federal government, and to these ends, to enter into suchcontracts, trust indentures, leases, or other agreements that the federalgovernment shall have the right to supervise and approve the construction,maintenance and operation of such hospital project. Pursuant to this chapteran authority may do any and all things necessary to secure the financial aidand the cooperation of the federal government in the construction,maintenance and operation of any hospital project of the authority.
