§ 15.2-638. Submission of annual financial plan by manager; notice andhearings thereon; adoption of budget.

Each year at least two weeks before the board must prepare its proposedannual budget, the county manager shall prepare and submit to the board abudget presenting a financial plan for conducting the county's affairs forthe ensuing year. Such budget shall be set up in the manner prescribed bygeneral law. Hearings shall be held, notice given and the budget adopted inaccordance with general law.
