§ 15.2-7315. Status of residents.

Property at Fort Monroe is owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia and isoperated and managed on behalf of the Commonwealth by the Authority. As such,it is deemed to be state property lying within the jurisdictional limits ofthe City of Hampton. Those residing on Fort Monroe shall have the same rightsto vote; precinct assignments; public education; police, fire, and emergencyservices; and access to courts as if the property at Fort Monroe wereprivately held property in the City of Hampton.
