§ 15.2-803. General powers of board of supervisors.

The board shall be the policy-determining body of the county and shall bevested with all rights and powers conferred on boards of supervisors bygeneral law, not inconsistent with the form of county organization andgovernment herein provided.

The board shall be the governing body of the urban county and of each of thedistricts established under Article 4 (§ 15.2-855 et seq.) of this chapterfor the provision of certain services to residents of such districts.
