§ 16.1-69.29. Jurisdiction over certain waters.

Where any river, watercourse or bay lies between any counties or any cities,or any county and city in this Commonwealth, the district courts therein, oneach side, respectively, shall have concurrent territorial jurisdiction overso much thereof as shall be opposite to such counties and cities. And suchcourts for counties or cities lying on the waters bounding the Commonwealthshall have concurrent territorial jurisdiction respectively over such watersopposite such counties and cities, as far as the jurisdiction of thisCommonwealth extends. But this section shall not apply to the City ofRichmond.
