§ 17.1-209. Preservation of papers in clerk's office.

All papers lawfully returned to, or filed in, the clerk's office shall bepreserved therein until legally delivered out, and shall not be destroyed,even if reproduced electronically, except as provided for in § 17.1-213 or asotherwise permitted by law.
