§ 17.1-262. Recordation of discharges of those who served in World War I.

Whenever the honorable discharge of any person who served in the military ornaval forces of the United States or its associates during World War I, andwho at the time of entering such service was a resident of Virginia shall bedelivered to the clerk of any circuit court in this Commonwealth, the clerkshall record the same in the book hereinafter provided for. Copies ofhonorable discharges certified by the clerk shall be received as evidence ofthe facts therein stated.
