§ 17.1-269. To whom fees charged.

Unless otherwise provided, the fees mentioned in this article shall bechargeable to the party at whose instance the service is performed, exceptthat fees for entering and certifying the attendance of witnesses and theproceedings to compel payment for such attendance shall be charged to theparty for whom the witness attended.
