§ 19.2-4. References to former sections, articles or chapters of Titles 18.1and 19.1.

Whenever in this title any of the conditions, requirements, provisions orcontents of any section, article or chapter of Titles 18.1 and 19.1, as suchtitles existed prior to October 1, 1975, are transferred in the same or inmodified form to a new section, article or chapter of this title or of Title18.2, and whenever any such former section, article or chapter is given a newnumber in this title or in Title 18.2, all references to any such formersection, article or chapter of Title 19.1 or of Title 18.1 appearingelsewhere in this Code than in this title or in Title 18.2, shall beconstrued to apply to the new or renumbered section, article or chaptercontaining such conditions, requirements, provisions or contents or portionsthereof.
