§ 19.2-182.13. Authority of Commissioner; delegation to board; liability.

The Commissioner may delegate any of the duties and powers imposed on orgranted to him by this chapter to an administrative board composed of personswith demonstrated expertise in such matters. The Department of BehavioralHealth and Developmental Services shall assist the board in itsadministrative and technical duties. Members of the board shall exercisetheir powers and duties without compensation and shall be immune frompersonal liability while acting within the scope of their duties except forintentional misconduct.
