§ 19.2-390.1. Sex Offender and Crimes Against Minors Registry; maintenance;access.
The Department of State Police shall keep and maintain a Sex Offender andCrimes Against Minors Registry, separate and apart from all other recordsmaintained by it.
The Superintendent of State Police shall organize, equip, and staff, withinthe Department of State Police, the Sex Offender and Crimes Against MinorsRegistry. The Superintendent shall appoint and designate personnel as hedeems necessary to carry out all duties and assignments related to the SexOffender and Crimes Against Minors Registry as required by Chapter 9 (§9.1-900 et seq.) of Title 9.1.
