§ 2.2-1147.2. Equal access to state-owned or controlled property; Boy Scoutsof America and Girl Scouts of the USA.

Notwithstanding any contrary provision of law, general or special, no statedepartment, agency, or institution providing access and opportunity to usereal property that is owned, leased, or controlled by the Commonwealth asdefined in § 2.2-1147, may deny equal access or a fair opportunity to usesuch real property to, or otherwise discriminate against, the Boy Scouts ofAmerica or the Girl Scouts of the USA. Nothing in this paragraph shall beconstrued to require any state department, agency, or institution to sponsorthe Boy Scouts of America or the Girl Scouts of the USA, or to exempt anysuch groups from policies governing access to and use of the real property.
