§ 2.2-228. Position established; agencies for which responsible.

The position of Secretary of Transportation (the "Secretary") is created.The Secretary shall be responsible to the Governor for the followingagencies: Department of Transportation, Department of Rail and PublicTransportation, Department of Aviation, Department of Motor Vehicles, theVirginia Port Authority, and the Motor Vehicle Dealer Board. The Governor, byexecutive order, may assign any state executive agency to the Secretary, orreassign any agency listed in this section to another Secretary.
