2.2-2414 - Duties of the Board.
§ 2.2-2414. Duties of the Board.
The Board shall advise the Department of Business Assistance on the smallbusiness programs, including, but not limited to, locally based centers toassist and develop small businesses. It shall make recommendations to theDirector, the Secretary of Commerce and Trade, and the Governor concerningthe actions that the Department of Business Assistance and the stategovernment might take to enhance the growth of small businesses.Additionally, the Board shall be a resource to the Department of BusinessAssistance, the Secretary of Commerce and Trade, the Chief Executive Officerof the Virginia Economic Development Partnership, and the Governor as theyconduct the economic development efforts of the Commonwealth.
