§ 2.2-2532. (Expires July 1, 2011) Southwest Virginia Cultural HeritageCommission; purpose.

The Southwest Virginia Cultural Heritage Commission (the Commission) isestablished as an advisory commission in the executive branch of stategovernment. The purpose of the Commission is to encourage the economicdevelopment of Southwest Virginia through the expansion of cultural heritageventures and initiatives related to tourism and other asset-basedenterprises, including the Southwest Virginia Artisan Center, the CrookedRoad, Round The Mountain, and related cultural heritage organizations, andvenues that promote entrepreneurial and employment opportunities.
