§ 2.2-2688. (Expires July 1, 2013) Staff; cooperation and assistance.

A. The Department of Planning and Budget shall provide staff assistance tothe Council. Additional assistance as needed shall be provided by the JointLegislative Audit and Review Commission, the Auditor of Public Accounts, andthe staffs of the House Committee on Appropriations and the Senate FinanceCommittee. All agencies, authorities, and institutions of the Commonwealthshall cooperate and provide such assistance to the Commission as theCommission may request.

B. The Chairman, in consultation with the Council, may hire or appoint anExecutive Director for the Council if deemed appropriate.
