§ 2.2-2823. Traveling expenses on state business; public or privatetransportation.
A. Pursuant to § 2.2-2825, any person traveling on state business shall beentitled to reimbursement for certain actual expenses as are necessary andordinarily incidental to travel. If transportation is by public means,reimbursement shall be at the actual cost thereof. If transportation is byprivate means, reimbursement shall be at the rate as specified in the currentgeneral appropriation act.
B. Mileage allowed under subsection A or § 30-19.15 shall be construed toinclude all costs incident to the maintenance and operation of privatetransportation except storage and parking fees, turnpike, tunnel, ferry andbridge tolls.
