§ 2.2-300. Office created; appointment of Director.

There is created in the Office of the Governor, the Virginia Liaison Office,as ("the Office"). The Office shall consist of a Director who shall beappointed by the Governor, subject to confirmation by the General Assembly asprovided in § 2.2-106. The Director shall preferably, by reason ofprofessional experience, be familiar with the structure and operations of thefederal government and of the Commonwealth.
