§ 2.2-3304. Display of flags on Mother's Day.

The Governor may issue annually a proclamation calling upon state officialsto display the flag of the United States and of the Commonwealth on allpublic buildings, and the people of the Commonwealth to display such flags attheir homes and other suitable places on the second Sunday in May, known as"Mother's Day," as a public expression of love and reverence for themothers of the Commonwealth.
