2.2-3402 - How interpreters paid.

§ 2.2-3402. How interpreters paid.

An interpreter for the deaf appointed pursuant to § 2.2-3401 shall be paid bythe agency out of such state and federal funds as may be available for thepurpose or, if the agency has insufficient funds to pay an interpreter, theVirginia Department for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing may appoint and pay aninterpreter from the funds it may have available for the purpose.
