§ 2.2-4320. Exclusion of insurance bids prohibited.

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no insurer licensed to transactthe business of insurance in the Commonwealth or approved to issue surpluslines insurance in the Commonwealth shall be excluded from presenting aninsurance bid proposal to a public body in response to a request for proposalor an invitation to bid. Nothing in this section shall preclude a public bodyfrom debarring a prospective insurer pursuant to § 2.2-4321.
