§ 2.2-4325. Preference for Virginia coal used in state facilities.

In determining the award of any contract for coal to be purchased for use instate facilities with state funds, the Department of General Services shallprocure using competitive sealed bidding and shall award to the lowestresponsive and responsible bidder offering coal mined in Virginia so long asits bid price is not more than four percent greater than the bid price of thelow responsive and responsible bidder offering coal mined elsewhere.
