§ 2.2-5504. Public notice of proposed regulated introduction.

Within fifteen days after receiving the information required under §2.2-5503, the Department shall publish notice and a brief description of theproposed regulated introduction. Notice shall also be provided to anyaffected locality and to any person who has filed a written request to benotified of regulated introductions. Notice shall be given by publication onetime in a newspaper having general circulation in each locality where theregulated introduction is proposed to be made. In addition, subject to theprovisions of this chapter regarding confidential business information, anydocuments submitted to the Department as required under § 2.2-5503 shall beavailable for public inspection or copying at or near the site of theproposed regulated introduction and at the offices of the Department.
