§ 2.2-704. Responsibility of Department for complaints regarding long-termcare services.

The Department or its designee shall investigate complaints regardingcommunity services that are designed to provide long-term care to olderpersons and are rendered by the Department of Health, the Department ofSocial Services, the Department of Behavioral Health and DevelopmentalServices, the area agencies on aging or any private nonprofit or proprietaryagency.

Nothing in this section shall affect the services provided by localdepartments of welfare or social services pursuant to § 63.2-1605.
