§ 20-146.22. Definitions.

In this article:

"Petitioner" means a person who seeks enforcement of an order for return ofa child under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of InternationalChild Abduction or enforcement of a child custody determination.

"Respondent" means a person against whom a proceeding has been commencedfor enforcement of an order for return of a child under the Hague Conventionon the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction or enforcement of achild custody determination.
