§ 21-239. Compensation and expenses of members.

The members of the commission, including the chairman, shall receive nosalary, but shall be paid their necessary traveling and other expensesincurred in attendance upon meetings of the commission or while otherwiseengaged in the discharge of their duties under this chapter, and the sum of$10 per diem for each day or portion thereof in which they are engaged in theperformance of such duties, but the total of such per diem compensation soreceived by any member during any one year shall not exceed $300.
