§ 21-292. Jurisdiction of circuit courts to establish projects.

The circuit courts of the several counties and cities of this Commonwealthshall have jurisdiction, power and authority to establish a levee, ordrainage project or projects, in their several counties and cities and inprojects as hereinafter set out, and to locate and establish levees, drainsor canals and cause to be constructed, straightened, widened or deepened anyland drainage, ditch, drain or watercourse, and to build levees orembankments and erect tide gates and pumping plants for the purpose ofdraining and reclaiming wet, swamp or overflowed lands.
