§ 21-301. Compensation of viewers.

The compensation for the services of the board of viewers, together withtheir incidental expenses to be fixed as herein provided, shall be paidpreliminarily by the county treasurer upon the certificate of the circuitjudge; the sum so paid shall be refunded, with interest at the rate of sixper centum per annum when the drainage fund is subsequently provided for bythe sale of bonds, or otherwise, or out of the bond given by the petitionersin case the district is not subsequently established.
