§ 21-334. Classification of land; benefits; assessments.

It shall be the further duty of the board of viewers personally to examinethe land in the district and classify it with reference to the benefit itwill receive from the construction of the levee, ditch, drain, or watercourseor other improvement and to determine rates of assessment in directproportion to the benefits received on an acreage basis subject to theapproval of a majority of the petitioners who own a majority of the land.
