§ 22.1-291. Duty-Free Lunch Incentive Fund; duty-free lunch period forteachers.

A Duty-Free Lunch Incentive Fund shall be established from all fundsappropriated to the Board of Education for funding the provision of duty-freelunch periods to teachers. Each school division shall be entitled to itsproportionate share of the Fund based on the number of teachers in the schooldivision whose duties require attendance at school five and one-half or morehours each school day and who have each day at a reasonable time a lunchperiod of the same duration as that afforded pupils during which no dutiesare assigned the teachers except in emergencies or when special events occur.The Fund shall be apportioned among the school divisions pursuant toregulations promulgated by the Board of Education.
