§ 22.1-317. Superintendent of Public Instruction to be "designated stateofficial.".

The "designated state official" for this Commonwealth for the purposes ofthe Interstate Agreement on Qualification of Educational Personnel shall bethe Superintendent of Public Instruction. The Superintendent of PublicInstruction shall enter into contracts pursuant to Article III of theAgreement only with the approval of the specific text thereof by the Board ofEducation.
