§ 22.1-17.3. Identification of student internship programs.

The Board of Education, together with the Department of Labor and Industryand the State Board for Community Colleges, shall identify student internshipprograms that may be eligible for exemptions from those federal and statelaws and regulations for which exemptions are available for studentapprenticeship programs. The Board of Education, the State Board forCommunity Colleges, and the Department shall also establish procedures bywhich such exemptions may be obtained for student internship programs.
