§ 23-9.8. Cooperation with State Board of Education.

The Council shall cooperate with the State Board of Education in matters ofinterest to both the public schools and the state-supported institutions ofhigher education, particularly in connection with coordination of the collegeadmission requirements and teacher training programs with the public schoolprogram. In accomplishing this responsibility, the Council shall consult withthe Board on its Six-Year Educational Technology Plan for Virginia and shallencourage the public institutions of higher education to design programswhich include the skills necessary for the successful implementation of thePlan.
