§ 23-2.1. Collection and dissemination of information concerning religiouspreferences and affiliations.

Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary any state institution ofhigher learning may collect and disseminate information concerning thereligious preferences and affiliations of its students; provided that nostudent may be required to indicate his religious preference or affiliationand that no dissemination of the information shall be made except tocategories of persons as to whom the student has given his consent thatdissemination may be made.
