§ 23-155.4. Appointment of visitors; terms; vacancies.

(a) The board shall consist of 15 members who shall be appointed by theGovernor.

(b) Of the four members taking new seats of the board to be appointed by theGovernor for terms beginning July 1, 2007, two shall be appointed for initialterms of three years each and two for terms of four years each. Successors toall members shall be appointed to serve for terms of four years each.Vacancies occurring other than by expiration of term shall be filled for theunexpired term. Of the persons so appointed four may be nonresidents of theCommonwealth.

(c) All appointments shall be subject to confirmation by the GeneralAssembly. Members shall continue to hold office until their successors havebeen appointed and have qualified.
