§ 23-135.7:5. Powers and duties of executive director.

The executive director with the approval of the board of visitors of VirginiaPolytechnic Institute and State University shall have the following powersand duties:

1. Exercise all powers and perform all duties imposed upon him by law; and

2. Carry out the specific duties imposed upon him by the board of visitors ofVirginia Polytechnic Institute and State University; and

3. Employ such personnel and contract for such services as may be required tocarry out the purposes of this article.
